Anna and I have been friends since 5th grade. Before I met Anna I can actually remember thinking that she looked mean. I guess when you're 10 years old a head full of pretty curls, an innocent face, twinkling eyes, and a beautiful smile come across as looking quite vicious.
And here we are....twenty-something years later...and she is STILL my friend. Thank you Anna for the lesson that you taught me all those years ago - about looks being deceiving. Also, let me not forget to thank you for teaching me one of THE MOST important life lessons of all...you know the one I'm talking about....if we pack our switch-blades and brass knuckles in with our Barbies then anyone messing with us is in for a SURPRISE!
